The Texas Rangers converted a terrific effort from starter Tyler Gaskins into a win over the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. The Rangers won the game by a final score of 5-2. The Rangers saw their record improve to 36-32.

Danny Rivera, who is on pace for 71 RBI this season, aided the Texas cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman drew 2 walks.

"I executed the game plan," said Gaskins.
