The exploits of right fielder Jamie Schexnider helped the Cincinnati Reds defeat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 4-1. Schexnider went 3-4 with 2 home runs. The win gives Cincinnati a season record of 48-23.

With Cincinnati leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Schexnider hit a sinker from Rafael Estrada for a solo home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Reds ahead, 3-1.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Cincinnati manager BJ Gorman.
