The Los Angeles Dodgers walked off with a big win.

Los Angeles catcher Justin Ellis made his presence felt in the 6-5 Dodgers triumph over the Minnesota Twins. Ellis slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Dodgers win now puts them at 33-36.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Victor Gomez in the bottom of the ninth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 29-year old left-handed pitcher Alex Casanova to win it for Los Angeles and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"We ground out the win," said Gomez. "That's all that matters."
