Win Makes San Diego 43-28
|
Dan Buskey pitched well, but his team, the Milwaukee Brewers, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the San Diego Padres at Miller Park. San Diego reliever Willie Guzman picked up the win, raising his record to 6-3. Dan Buskey was tagged with the loss. Tim Rogge recorded the save for San Diego, his 2nd of the season.
Chris Alwine hit a run-scoring triple off Dan Buskey in the top of the fourth, which put the Padres in front, 2-1. Alwine had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
"Every loss hurts," said Milwaukee manager Dan Silva. "But this was a tough one."
San Diego is now 43-28, 4½ games up in the National League West Division.
