Astros Beat Seattle, 3-2
|
Astros fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.
The Seattle Mariners got a superb performance from pitcher John McWilliams, but the Houston Astros still won the game, 3-2. McWilliams threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The second-place Astros raised their record to 39-35.
Josh Otis was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Astros third baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Otis said.
