Wildcard Series Game 1 Victory for Borkholder and Houston
The Houston Astros powered past the visiting Cleveland Guardians, 3-1, in the opener of the Wildcard Series at Minute Maid Park today. Houston starting pitcher Dane Borkholder threw 6.0 innings allowing 1 runs, to lead the charge. The Astros now lead the series 1-0.

Lee Tasso dealt the Guardians a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with a runner on 1st and Houston leading 1-0, Tasso, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2071, hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring double.

"Feels good to get the job done," Tasso said after the game.

Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
