Mariners Hammered by Cantu, Drop Game 2 to Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox relied on the hitting of left fielder Javier Cantu to get by the Seattle Mariners, 6-5, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. For the game, Cantu went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

Edwin Zuniga had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With two out and the bases loaded, the Boston right fielder hit a bases-clearing double. That put the Red Sox in front, 6-5.

"We found a way to get it done," Zuniga said.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, October 18th , 2080 at Safeco Field in Seattle.
