Seattle Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in R2
The Seattle Mariners moved to within one game of the League Championship Series today, downing the visiting Houston Astros at Safeco Field by a score of 5-3. Mariners right fielder Edgar Pino did some major damage. He went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. The win gives the Mariners a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Series.

David Ugalde had a nice at-bat for the Mariners with one out in the bottom of the second. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the catcher hit a run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Seattle win.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Ugalde.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Safeco Field in Seattle.
