Tampa Bay Takes League Championship Series in Deciding Game
The Tampa Bay Rays and Houston Astros held nothing back in an entertaining League Championship Series that went the distance.

In the end, it will be Tampa Bay advancing to the World Series, after a 7-5 triumph in the final game at Minute Maid Park, to wrap up the series 4-3.

The Rays players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Astros.

Tom Fleming was named series MVP for Tampa Bay. For the series, Fleming hit .259 with a .276 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Tampa Bay Rays will play against the Philadelphia Phillies in the next round. Philadelphia won their series against the San Diego Padres 4 games to 0. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
