Cincinnati Moves on to World Series
The Cincinnati Reds took time to celebrate with the Cincinnati fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's League Championship Series triumph over the Atlanta Braves.

Members of the Reds hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the Cincinnati fans in attendance at Great American Ball Park, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 8-5 win to seal the series 4-2.

"We've got great fan support," said first baseman Bob Rogers. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Atlanta fans that were there even congratulated us on the win."

For the series, Rogers hit .292 with a .320 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 6 runs.

Things weren't so cordial on the Braves side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season.

The Cincinnati Reds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Houston Astros - New York Yankees series. Houston leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
