The Colorado Rockies got production up and down the lineup while beating the Cincinnati Reds, 13-1. One standout was third baseman Danny Lindblom. Lindblom, who finished 2nd in the NL in hits with 205 in 2108, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The win puts the Rockies at 51-24, while the Reds drop to 35-44.

Travis Parrish hit a 2-run triple off Roger (Eben) Penn in the bottom of the first, which put the Rockies in front, 2-1. Parrish had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.
