The Texas Rangers topped the Boston Red Sox, 10-1, in American League action at Fenway Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Texas shortstop Antonio Gonzalez. Darius Shaheed, who went 8.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 4-6. The Rangers improved to 39-39.
