Braves Cruise to Division Series with Sweep
The Atlanta Braves have swept the Pittsburgh Pirates and are on to the Division Series. Atlanta won 5-4 today at PNC Park to clinch the Wildcard Series.

"We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Atlanta right fielder Jim Swauger, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning."

Swauger won the award with a .600 batting average and a .714 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Atlanta Braves will play against the Washington Nationals in the next round. Washington had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
