Mike Cerretani, who is tied for 3rd in the NL in complete games with 1, was locked in. The left-hander led the Milwaukee Brewers to a 2-1 win against the San Francisco Giants at Miller Park. Ricardo Baeza notched his 7th save in 7 chances. The last-place Brewers lifted their record to 35-44.
Arturo Gonzales, who led the NL in batting average with .339 in 2105, chipped in a 2-run home run for Milwaukee in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
Gonzales said he "would like to have scored more runs for Baeza. But we'll gladly take this win."
