Blue Jays Use Late Rally to Win
The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at Rogers Centre, downing the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-3. On the mound for Toronto was right-hander Mike Williams, who played a pivotal role in the win. Toronto reliever John Ferch picked up the win, raising his record to 10-6. John Campbell was tagged with the loss. Their 38-38 record puts the Blue Jays third in the American League East Division.

Hector Amador was the walk-off hero for Toronto. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blue Jays shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Amador described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
