Sable Leads Baltimore to 2-1 Win
|
The Baltimore Orioles got a stellar performance from pitcher Chris Sable, who handcuffed the Seattle offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Brent Brzezinski, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. The Orioles improved to 43-36.
Sable worked his mojo for Baltimore. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings of work.
"The old adage is true," said Sable. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
