Chicago Loss Diminishes Rodriguez Performance
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox.

Chicago got a terrific game from center fielder Danny Rodriguez. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Minnesota, 7-6. Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The setback makes Chicago 56-24.

Minnesota used the timely hitting of Bret McBride to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Twins ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," McBride told the Minnesota Bulletin.
