Twins Suffer 7-4 Setback
Pittsburgh picked up a win at Target Field, bumping off the Minnesota Twins, 7-4. Pitcher Jason Williams was a major reason the Pirates emerged victorious. The Pirates move to 38-42 with the win, while the Twins drop to 43-37.

Pittsburgh used the timely hitting of Verner Johannsen to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pirates on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Winning never gets old," said Johannsen.
