The Milwaukee Brewers topped the San Francisco Giants, 4-3, at Miller Park. Milwaukee pitcher Kyle Brent was a spark plug for the offense. He threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The Brewers improved their record to 37-43 with the win over San Francisco.

Eduardo Lopez, who led the NL in wins above replacement with 8.4 in 2103, helped out the Milwaukee cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 2 with 2 walks.
