Orioles Win Thriller, 4-3
|
Oriole Park at Camden Yards was rocking after an exciting Orioles win.
Seattle got a decent performance from pitcher Rick Hutson, but it wasn't enough to beat the Baltimore Orioles. Baltimore won the Oriole Park at Camden Yards contest, 4-3. Hutson threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The Mariners, now 31-48, have lost 4 straight.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Baltimore. That's when Tyler Cone hit a solo home run off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Alex Franco to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"The house was rockin'," said Cone.
