Rodas Spins Gem for Houston
Houston picked up a win at Minute Maid Park, bumping off the Texas Rangers, 4-2. Pitcher Luis Rodas was a major reason the Astros emerged victorious. Jeff Hank wrapped it up, recording his 18th save. The Astros now own a record of 47-36.

Rodas was effective for Houston, seldom allowing the Rangers to square up a pitch. The left-hander tossed 108 pitches over 8.1 innings. He limited Texas to just 1 run on 3 hits.

"Luis went out and did what we needed," said Houston manager Zeb Currier.
