The Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-3, at Wrigley Field. Jake Sanders, who is on pace for 88 RBI this season, starred for Chicago. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The defeat makes Milwaukee 27-56.

With Chicago leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Sanders hit a fastball from Ray Dunham for a 3-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Cubs ahead, 5-0.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Sanders.
