Palmer Deals Giants 4-0 Shutout
|
Nick Palmer kept the San Francisco Giants hitters off balance all game long, as the Washington Nationals pitcher blanked the Giants, 4-0.
Palmer gave up 3 hits, struck out 6, and walked 2. In the postgame press conference, the right-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length.
"It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it."
For the year, Palmer has a 7-7 record with a 3.89 ERA in 17 starts.
