Angels Earn 10-1 Home Win
|
The Los Angeles Angels used an offensive barrage to beat the Chicago White Sox, 10-1, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Ed Miller, who finished 5th in the NL in RBI with 106 in 2103, led the way, going 2-for-3 for Los Angeles. With the win, Los Angeles upped its record to 47-37.
Miller was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 against the White Sox. In the bottom of the first inning, he hit a 2-run single that put Los Angeles in front, 2-0.
"Not much to say," Chicago manager Bryce Reigns said, when asked afterward about the defeat.
