The Houston Astros picked up a win at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, knocking off the Los Angeles Angels, 4-1. Starting pitcher Matt Emery was a big reason why. Guillermo Padron picked up the save for Houston, his 22nd of the year. Houston now sits in second place in the American League West Division at 46-41.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Matt Carocci? The Houston designated hitter had a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Astros on top, 1-0. For the game, Carocci had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
