Twins Knock Off Guardians at Target Field
The Minnesota Twins downed the Cleveland Guardians, 9-3. The hitting star was catcher Brian Duncan. Duncan went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs for the Twins. The winning pitcher was Alex Serrano. He's now 4-0. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits for the Twins. The save went to Adrian Tipton, his 10th this season.

In the bottom of the 5th, Minnesota took the lead on a 2-run single by Billy Hinson. At the time, the Twins were trailing 3-2, but Hinson's hit with two outs against Cleveland pitcher Paul Cowles put them in front, 4-3.

"We'll try to build on that win," Hinson told the Minnesota Today.
