Washington Rallies to 6-1 Win
|
The 6-1 Washington win over Las Vegas was due in large part to Jeremy Kenealy. The Nationals first baseman went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. Washington now has a record of 51-39 with the win.
Washington took a 2-1 lead on Ben Baker's 14th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Baker hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Las Vegas pitcher Alexis Fuentes visibly frustrated.
"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Las Vegas manager Larry Robinson.
