Mets Edge Past Dodgers, 5-4
|
The New York Mets scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Los Angeles Dodgers at Citi Field. New York pitcher Seung-mo Kym held his own in the contest. The win makes New York 38-51.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when New York left fielder Mike Stone, facing Mario Navarro, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Mets the 5-4 win.
Said Stone: "What's not to like about a walk-off win?"
