Philadelphia starter Chris Wilhelm kept the Atlanta hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 10-1. The first-place Phillies bumped their record to 54-37.

Quincy Herbert, the Philadelphia first baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 3-1, Phillies. For the game, Herbert went 1 for 3 with a walk.

"They beat us, they beat us soundly," said losing manager Dan Hoagland.
