Milwaukee Bats Go Silent in 5-0 Loss
San Francisco pitcher Men Pimentel did his part in helping his team defeat the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. At 44-48, the Giants claim 4th place in the National League West Division.

The Brewers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Giants going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the former first round draft pick Mike Pothast came to the plate. Pothast hit a run-scoring double on a 2-2 changeup from Milwaukee hurler Ray Dunham. It was Pothast's 12th double of the year.

"The team always comes first," Pimentel told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."
