Big Day for Monachino in 6-3 Yankees Win
Yankees first baseman Gabriele Monachino left his mark on his team's 6-3 win over the Kansas City Royals. Monachino was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for New York in the contest. Josh Thomas, the winner, improved to 5-12.
