The Toronto Blue Jays faced a tough opponent in Baltimore pitcher Steve Whiteside, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Rogers Centre by a final score of 3-1. Whiteside went 5 innings and allowed 3 runs. Toronto reliever Domingo Tamayo picked up the win, upping his record to 8-5. Steve Whiteside took the loss. Victor Urueta earned the save, his 3rd, for the Blue Jays.
