Globe Life Park in Arlington was the site for American League action featuring the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers.

A good performance from third baseman Scott Pabian helped the Texas Rangers defeat the Houston Astros, 8-6. Pabian was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Rangers. After today's action, Texas sits at 45-50, while Houston falls to 54-42.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Pabian delivered big-time for Texas, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Chris Sanchez. The game-changing hit put the Rangers on top, 8-6.
