Late Rally Earns Baltimore 7-5 Win
Baltimore first baseman Ramon Soto was instrumental in helping the Orioles triumph, 7-5, over the Oakland Athletics. Soto went 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The winner was Roland Nobilo in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Dustin McClellan took the loss. Baltimore is last in the American League East Division with a record of 39-56.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Baltimore. That's when Brian Baumbach, who finished 4th in the AL in extra base hits with 86 in 2108, hit a 2-run home run off Dustin McClellan to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Soto.
