Baltimore Loses Again, 6-3
|
The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 6-3, in American League action at Rogers Centre. Toronto pitcher Adam Lyons had a standout performance. This loss makes it 9 in a row for Baltimore.
Toronto took a 3-1 lead on Ryan Ricks's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Ricks hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Baltimore pitcher Chris Hafer visibly frustrated.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Toronto manager Dan Silva.
