Braves Earn Late Win
Good production from right fielder Francisco Ruiz helped the Atlanta Braves topple the New York Mets, 10-9. Ruiz went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Braves. Johnny Davies recorded the save, his 3rd. At 52-45, the Braves find themselves in second place in the National League East Division.

Atlanta needed the clutch hitting of Jared Griesbach to seal the deal. The catcher swatted a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Braves on top, 10-9. For the game, Griesbach had 1 home run and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Dan Hoagland.
