Nationals Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Pirates
|
The Pittsburgh Pirates got a stellar effort from pitcher Monte Acosta, helping Pittsburgh score a win over the visiting Washington Nationals, 3-2. The current losing streak for Washington has reached 5 games.
Pittsburgh fans at PNC Park were rewarded for their support of the Pirates with a nice win.
"This was a gut-wrenching loss," said Washington manager Doug Graff, "the kind that'll give you an ulcer."
