Cincinnati Reds starter Kyle Gruhlke turned in a top-notch performance against the Milwaukee Brewers at Great American Ball Park. The result was a win for the Reds, 4-0. The winner was Gruhlke. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Jesus Delgadillo. The Reds now have a record of 52-44 with the win over Milwaukee.

The Reds got a big at-bat from right fielder Nick Griffin. For the game, Griffin went 1-3 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Cincinnati a 2-0 lead.
