Twins Get One-Run Win at Houston
The Minnesota Twins defeated the Houston Astros, 6-5, at Minute Maid Park today. Leading the charge for Minnesota was catcher Shane Cook. He went 1 for 4 with a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Reliever Mario Prado picked up the win. His record improves to 7-0. Guillermo Padron took the loss. The third-place Twins sport a record of 52-47.

Minnesota needed the clutch hitting of Joe Looby to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Twins on top, 6-5. For the game, Looby had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Houston manager Zeb Currier. "But we decided not to take it."
