The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Los Angeles Angels, 4-3, in 11 innings. Toronto second baseman Nick Maruschak, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. John Ferch came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 5-3.
