Mariners Stick Guardians with 8-2 Loss
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Seattle Mariners knocked off the Cleveland Guardians by the score of 8-2. Keith Bundy provided some pop, going 2-for-3 with 1 home run. Reliever Trevor Killy picked up the win. His record improves to 7-3. Danny Sanchez took the loss.
Seattle took a 7-2 lead on Jaime Callahan's 19th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Cleveland pitcher Danny Sanchez in the bottom of the seventh.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Callahan. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
The loss makes Cleveland 54-44.
