Chicago White Sox starter Felix Martinez turned in a top-notch performance against the Minnesota Twins at U.S. Cellular Field. The result was a win for the White Sox, 4-2. The win belonged to Ruben Guevara in relief. His record improves to 7-6. Jeff Robles took the loss for Minnesota. The save went to Mike Muniz, number 1 for him.

Chicago took a 2-1 lead on Josh Nightingale's 27th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Nightingale hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Minnesota pitcher Jeff Robles visibly frustrated.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said White Sox manager Bryce Reigns, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."

The second-place White Sox have won 7 in a row.
