It might have been a rain-shorted game, but Rangers fans didn't seem to mind as long as their team got the win.

The Texas Rangers beat the Chicago White Sox, 7-2, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Scott Pabian went 2 for 2 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The two-time All-Star was a menace to Chicago all day. Darius Shaheed picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 8-7.

With Texas leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Pabian hit a fastball from Jonathan Stevens for a 2-run double. It was his 17th double of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 3-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Pabian told the Texas News.

The setback makes Chicago 56-43.
