Chicago got an elite performance from starting pitcher Fumikazu Nakahama in securing a 2-0 decision over the Milwaukee Brewers. Jonathan Hager earned the save for Chicago, his 21st. The 'W' lifts Chicago's record to 50-49.
Nakahama, who was born in Iwaki, Japan, threw 98 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.
