The Chicago White Sox cruised to a win over the Texas Rangers, 12-3, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Leo Lepe led the way, going 3-for-5 for Chicago. Chicago pitcher Raul Ornelas got the win. He's now 10-6. Rod Pineda was tagged with the loss. The White Sox, at 65-36, have a comfortable 14-game lead in their division.

Lepe contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Chicago in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Lepe took a fastball from Rod Pineda and stroked the home run to left. His 26th home run of the season allowed the White Sox to leap in front, 3-1.

"We lit up the scoreboard," said Chicago manager Bryce Reigns.
