Cincinnati third baseman Gerardo Machado had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Machado went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, even as Las Vegas beat the Reds, 6-5, in 10 innings. The win puts the Hustle at 52-49, while the Reds drop to 53-47.

Las Vegas won the game in part because of Chris Anderson. The shortstop ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hustle ahead, 6-5. For the game, Anderson had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

Anderson called getting the win a "good ending to a long game."
