Okuhara Leads Houston Past Los Angeles
|
Houston got an elite performance from starting pitcher Kihachi Okuhara in securing a 3-0 decision over the Los Angeles Angels. Jeff Hank locked down his 33rd save. After today's action, Houston sits at 59-45, while Los Angeles falls to 57-47.
Okuhara earned the win to move to 12-10. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 5 and walking 4. The left-hander allowed the Angels few scoring opportunities.
"Kihachi looked very determined to have a good game," said Houston manager Zeb Currier. "He was totally focused and he produced."
