Chicago Makes It 10 Straight, Barely
U.S. Cellular Field was the site of some high drama.

At U.S. Cellular Field, the Chicago White Sox edged the Texas Rangers, 7-6, in 12 innings. Chicago right fielder Ben Gibbons, who jolted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Jayson Redd got credit for the win, improving to 8-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3.2 innings.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With no one out, Gibbons hit a slider from Montes Galli for a solo home run. The White Sox, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The positive vibes are all around the clubhouse," said White Sox manager Bryce Reigns. "Once you see a player having a good at-bat, that's really contagious."

Chicago is now 70-36, 15 games up in the American League Central Division.
