The Boston Red Sox defeated the Los Angeles Angels, 7-3, in part because of third baseman Allan Chapman. Chapman went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Red Sox. Their 66-40 record puts the Red Sox first in the American League East Division.
