The Colorado Rockies beat the Cleveland Guardians, 6-5, in part because of third baseman Brian Schoenberg. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Josh Calloway snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-2 on the season. Manny Castro suffered the loss. Jon Torres locked down his 19th save.

Schoenberg had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Manny Castro, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Rockies a 6-5 lead. It was the 27th home run of the year for Schoenberg.

After the game, Colorado manager Trevor Taka applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.

With the win, the Rockies have a record of 56-53.
