The Las Vegas Hustle clobbered the Atlanta Braves, 13-2, at Las Vegas Ballpark. Las Vegas third baseman Chris Strickland led the onslaught. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Steve Boothby earned the win, while 28-year old left-handed pitcher Doug Donaghey took the loss for Atlanta. Rick Whitley recorded the save for Las Vegas, his 2nd of the season.

Colin Bridgens, who is tied for 3rd in the NL in RBI with 84, came through for Las Vegas with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the second. The second baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 4 runs batted in.

"We lit up the scoreboard," said Las Vegas manager Larry Robinson.

The 'W' lifts Las Vegas's record to 63-45.
